Section 13: Radar
RAX's Radar page provides comprehensive market intelligence by scanning and aggregating token data from multiple decentralized exchanges (DEXs) across the ecosystem. Our advanced aggregation system categorizes tokens into three distinct sections based on their lifecycle stage, giving traders critical insights into market opportunities and token progression.
New Pairs
Recently created trading pairs representing the newest tokens to enter the market. These are the most recent pairs created across our monitored DEXs, providing early access to emerging opportunities and allowing traders to identify potential gems before they gain widespread attention.
Final Stretch
Tokens that are approaching completion of their bonding curve mechanism. Each DEX implements different bonding curve parameters, and our system tracks tokens nearing these completion thresholds. This category represents coins in their final fundraising phase before transitioning to full market trading.
Migrated
Tokens that have successfully completed their bonding curve journey and transitioned to full decentralized trading. These coins have met their funding targets and now trade with traditional market mechanics, representing established projects that have proven initial market validation.
Understanding Bonding Curves
A bonding curve is an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism that determines token pricing based on supply. As more tokens are purchased, the price increases along a predetermined mathematical curve, typically exponential or logarithmic. This creates a fair launch system where early buyers get lower prices, but the cost increases progressively as demand grows.
The bonding curve serves multiple purposes: it provides initial liquidity without requiring large capital deposits, creates price discovery through organic demand, and establishes a funding mechanism for new projects. Once a token reaches the top of its bonding curve (completion threshold), it typically transitions to traditional DEX trading with the accumulated funds used to create permanent liquidity pools.
Different DEXs implement varying bonding curve parameters, including completion thresholds, curve steepness, and transition mechanisms, which RAX monitors and aggregates to provide comprehensive market intelligence across the entire decentralized ecosystem.
How do we calculate the bonding curve per DEX?
Bonding Curve Progress Calculation
RAX calculates bonding curve completion percentage differently for each DEX based on their unique parameters:
Volume-Based DEXs (Pumpfun, Moonshot, Heaven, etc.)
Progress = (Current Trading Volume / Target Volume Threshold) × 100
- Each DEX sets different target volumes (e.g., Pumpfun: $69K, Moonshot: $100K)
- Progress tracks how close a token is to reaching migration volume
Market Cap-Based DEXs (Jupiter Studio, Raydium)
Progress = (Current Market Cap / Target Market Cap) × 100
- Completion triggered when market cap reaches predetermined threshold
- Different DEXs have varying market cap requirements
Supply-Based DEXs (Meteora AMM, Orca)
Progress = (Tokens Sold / Total Bonding Curve Supply) × 100
- Tracks percentage of available tokens purchased from the curve
- Completion occurs when all bonding curve tokens are sold
Time + Volume Hybrid (Dynamic BC, Launchlab)
Progress = Weighted combination of time elapsed and volume achieved
- Complex formulas considering both duration and trading activity
- Each DEX implements different weighting ratios
Custom Mechanisms (Bonk, Bags, Sugar, etc.)
Progress varies based on proprietary algorithms including factors like:
- Community participation metrics
- Holder distribution requirements
- Social engagement thresholds
- Trading consistency over time periods
RAX's aggregation system continuously monitors these diverse calculation methods, providing unified progress tracking across all supported DEXs while respecting each platform's unique bonding curve implementation.
